El Popular

The El Popular church, probably one of the most exciting churches in this area, is located in a very impoverished and dangerous section of Medellin. The people sleep on the floor in the back of their homes so the bullets coming into the front don't hit them!

The church is very organized and functions primarily through the work of teenagers because their parents work 12 hours a day. The adult pastors of the El Popular church are experienced church planters. This shows in their pastoring and organizational skills.

The El Popular church is truly taking light into darkness and changing a barrio one block at a time. Please pray for their safety and their efforts to bring healing into this wounded area.
